We believe that mission work is very important and because of that the Twin City congregation has supported many mission works over the years. Sometimes this has been in the form of one-time payments to various missionaries. We have supported some on a monthly basis. In recent years we have sent a couple of our youth to assist in overseas missions in Palau in Micronesia and on the island of Leyte in the Philippines.
We presently support two missionaries. Don Iverson has been involved in the India work for many years and God has accomplished great things through his efforts. We are proud to be even a small part of that.
One of our former preachers, Wade Phillips, has been involved in planting several congregations in the Philippines over the past few years, as well as teaching one semester at a Christian college in Luzon. In the past years, he began to focus on the needs of the church in the U.S. territory of Guam. We are glad to be supporting him and his wife Joanna as they live and work on the island.
